Works to begin
Pre-commencement works will begin at the reserve in the coming weeks and will include:
- the removal of vegetation within the building zone
- relocation of existing Coliban Water infrastructure
- consolidation of existing power infrastructure
- completion of regulatory safety checks.

Background
Project Background
Following community consultation throughout 2022, Maree Edwards MP announced in October that Council had successfully bid for State Government funding to deliver:
- a new all gender pavilion to service netball and tennis participants
- lighting upgrades for the oval and netball courts.
Designs
The designs for the projects were endorsed by Council in September 2022.
Lighting: the preferred design solution will see four 24m poles installed for oval sports lighting.
Pavilion: designs have been informed by advice from Council’s Heritage Advisor and the Maldon Design Guidelines.
