Thank you to all children, families, stakeholders and members of the community who submitted feedback

From November 2022 until January 2023 Council delivered a range of community engagement activities to inform the development of the Active Transport strategy and to helps set appropriate strategy goals.

We were especially interested to learn more about:

• Your active transport experiences across the shire
• Why you take part in active transport and what you think the benefits and barriers are
• What would encourage you to participate more

We heard from

The draft strategy will be available through Shape for public exhibition in mid-March 2023.

We will promote this second opportunity for feedback through Shape, Council News, social media channels, eNewsletters, and through the media.

Following the public exhibition period, the strategy will be finalised and submitted for Council endorsement in mid-2023.
