You may have noticed a stretch of fresh walking paths along the Pyrenees Highway in Chewton. We’ve sealed the footpaths to improve safety and accessibility, and to connect Chewton residents and visitors to the following key locations:

Calder Highway

Local services and traders

Chewton Senior Citizens Centre

Chewton Soldiers Memorial Park (including recreation reserve and playground)

Chewton Swimming Pool

Chewton Primary School

We are now keen to hear your feedback on the paths. Survey results will help us to evaluate the project and also inform any future path works – both in Chewton and across the shire.
