We are developing the 2022-2026 Early Years Plan
Draft plan consultation underway
Mount Alexander Shire Council wants young children and their families to be able to thrive. We feel a responsibility to respond to their needs, which we know span a wide range of areas.
To develop the draft plan we reached out to the community and in particular children aged 0-8 and their families and carers, as well as stakeholders from across the early years sector. Over 350 contributions have helped us draft 19 actions across four key themes:
We bring the draft plan back to you now to make sure we heard you properly, that we didn't miss anything, and to understand if the draft strategy has got the right balance.
