Draft audit released

We’re excited to share the draft results of the Inclusive Streets Audit, delivered from March to May 2026 in partnership with Victoria Walks.

This work extends on what we’ve heard from the community through recent projects like the Castlemaine CBD Road Safety Plan, safer parking at schools, the Active Transport Strategy and the Disability and Inclusion Action Plan.

The audit is helping us get a clearer picture of how accessible, inclusive and safe the town centre feels, especially for people living with disability, older adults and families.

Thanks so much to everyone who got involved during March and April. Your feedback and insights have been invaluable.
