Planning Scheme Amendment C102malx

We’re proposing updates to the heritage controls for Maldon’s Historic Central Area.

These updates fix outdated information, improve the maps, and explain more clearly why the area is important. They also aim to make heritage information for the area clearer, more accurate and easier to use.

The updates will be implemented through Planning Scheme Amendment C102malx.

Please note these changes do not add new heritage overlays to private properties.

Planning Scheme Amendment C102malx is on exhibition from Friday 17 April until Friday 22 May 2026 and we want to hear from community members about the proposed changes.
