Council endorsed the policy on 10 September 2024.
CCTV Policy adopted
We are committed to providing safe and welcoming spaces for our community and visitors and we believe Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems can help us achieve this. We developed a Draft Policy in early 2024 to make sure if implemented:
- We have a consistent approach to using CCTV in public places across the shire
- We have addressed the necessary data collection and privacy rights.
