Thank you to everyone who provided feedback recently as part of our evaluation into the expansion of outdoor dining and entertainment areas in the shire.

Council, with support from the Victorian Government’s Outdoor Eating and Dining Program, has been working together with local businesses to help them cater for more patrons, while meeting COVID-19 restrictions.

As part of this, we installed picnic tables and parklets, and converted disused carparks into active and vibrant public spaces.

From March to June 2021, we asked businesses and the community to share feedback on these temporary pop-up spaces, and received almost 200 responses.
