Newstead flood study drop-in session
Drop-in at any time between 3.00 - 7.00pm and meet the project team and Mayor Driscoll to talk through your knowledge and recollections. We'll work with you to understand how the flood behaved on your property or place of interest.
What to bring
If possible bring along photos, recordings or materials you have that will help us understand the locations, dates, times and depths of previous flood events.
We'll be asking questions like:
- where the photo was taken?
- when was (date and time) the photo taken?
- how high is your shed or porch compared to the watermark shown? (for example)
- where did the water cover reach on Overflow Road - the culvert, the line markings? (for example)
- how high was the water in flooded field - was it up to your knees, neck? (for example)
We may also ask for your contact details in case we need to investigate further.
